PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate and a method for manufacturing the printing plate by using a curable composition having an epoxy novolac resin.;SOLUTION: Provided are a printing plate and a method for manufacturing the printing plate from the curable composition that contains an epoxy novolac resin having an equivalent weight epoxide of 156-300g; and an amine curing agent, chosen from primary amine and secondary amine, having an equivalent weight amine of equal to or less than 60g. This method includes a step of forming a layer by applying the curable composition to a supporting substrate, a step of curing the layer at one or more temperatures in a temperature range, and a step of forming at least one cell by engraving the cured layer. This method allows engraving, resistance to solvent inks and mechanical wear, and can manufacture a printing plate having a curable resin composition layer capable of printing gravure quality image, particularly a gravure printing plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
