PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional shape estimation device capable of estimating a three-dimensional shape.;SOLUTION: The three-dimensional shape estimation device for estimating the three-dimensional shape of a target object from an image picked up by a multi-view camera which photographs the target object from different positions of a space comprises: means for inputting a background image and a foreground image picked up by the multi-view camera; means for dividing the entire three-dimensional space including the target object into voxels; means for projecting the voxels to the background image and the foreground image and calculating first likelihood of being included in the target object; means for calculating second likelihood that a boundary surface of the target object is present between the voxel and the adjacent voxel for the respective voxels; means for defining a branch for which the first likelihood and the second likelihood are weighting coefficients for each voxel and constructing a graph; means for calculating a voxel set to be a target by calculating minimum graph cut for the constructed graph; and means for outputting a voxel set as three-dimensional shape information of the target object.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
