PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylenic resin composition for extrusion having good extrusion processability, good flexibility and glossiness and particularly excellent durable stability and to provide a pipe for water supply and a pipe for gas transportation composed of the composition. PSOLUTION: The polyethylenic resin composition for silane modification comprises 100 pts.wt. of a polyethylenic resin composition, 0.005-5 pts.wt. of an organic peroxide and 0.1-10 pts.wt. of an organic unsaturated silane compound. The polyethylenic resin composition is prepared by compounding 95-65 wt.% of a linear polyethylene (A) which is a copolymer having specific physical properties and composed of ethylene and a 3-20C α-olefin with 5-35 wt.% of a branched high pressure low-density polyethylene (B) having specified physical properties in 1-20 ratio of the melt flow rate of (B) to the melt flow rate of (A), both at 190°C under 2.16 kg load.
