PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated building capable of reducing labor for a structural design of the base-isolated building, which is caused by the structure, scale and the like of a structure supported by a foundation base isolation layer, and a design method for the base-isolated building.;SOLUTION: Labor for a structural design of a base-isolated building can be reduced by a base-isolated building 10 which includes a lower stricture 14 supported by a foundation base isolation layer 12, and an upper structure 18 supported by an intermediate base isolation layer 16 provided on the lower structure 14 and provided by being set back with respect to the lower structure 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
