PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming method of a round shaft surface for improving wear resistance by increasing the surface rigidity of the round shaft, restraining distortion and deformation of the round shaft by small heat generation amount, and not requiring special devices.;SOLUTION: The round shaft A is rotated, a flat or cone-shaped top end face 11 of a tool 4 in which a helical groove 10 is formed on an outer circumference is brought into line or point contact with the outer circumference of the round shaft A, the round shaft A and the tool 4 are relatively moved in an axial direction of the round shaft A while rotating the tool 4, and fine hard powder B is sent to a contact part between the round shaft A and the tool 4 in accordance with the rotation of the tool 4 to fill the hard powder B in the surface of the round shaft A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
