PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present such a position that an article is easier to read, as a new insertion position of the article in an existing arrangement of articles.SOLUTION: An article insertion position presentation device (3) includes: article analysis means (32) which sets sets of feature words representing features of articles constituting an article arrangement, as sets of feature words about the articles; relevance factor calculation means (34a) which, on reception of an insertion article from a terminal device, calculates a relevance factor indicating a degree of propriety of insertion of the insertion article to each of positions between adjacent articles in the article arrangement, on the basis of a relation between information showing the change from the set of feature words set about the preceding article in the article arrangement to that about the succeeding article and a set of feature words of the insertion article; and article insertion position presentation means (34) which selects a prescribed number of positions in the descending order of relevance factors and transmits the prescribed number of positions to the terminal device as candidates of the position where the insertion article should be inserted in the article arrangement.
