PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the slip generation state of a foot of a user in a walking assist device or the like.;SOLUTION: A slip detection device includes: a first sensor for detecting whether or not the foot of a human body is grounded on a ground surface; a second sensor for detecting the speed or acceleration of the foot; a third sensor for detecting the speed or acceleration of the trunk of the human body; and a control part for executing slip detection processing of detecting the slip generation state when the first sensor detects grounding, the speed or the acceleration detected by the second sensor is greater than a prescribed value, and the speed or the acceleration detected by the second sensor and the speed or the acceleration detected by the third sensor have a difference of a prescribed value or larger.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
