PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female connection terminal having the bending property allowing to form a fit-reception part of a complicated form, the terminal ensuring strength and excellent in recycling property of punched scraps; and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the female connection terminal 10 constituting a fit-type connection terminal together with a male connection terminal and including the fit-reception part 11 into which an inserting part of the male connection terminal is inserted includes: a step of forming a bar having differently formed sectional parts, in which thick and thin parts of different plate thicknesses are formed in sections intersecting with the longitudinal direction; a partially plating step of plating a portion in a width direction of the bar to form a plated layer on at least a portion of the thin part; a punching step of punching a portion of the partially plated bar in a thickness direction to form a female terminal material; and a molding step of working a thin part of the female terminal material to form the fit-reception part 11 to mold the female connection terminal 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
