PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for scaling the intensity distribution of a scattered radiation component, based on a detector signal in a multi-tube type X-ray CT apparatus, and also to provide the multi-tube type X-ray CT apparatus.;SOLUTION: A first difference is obtained, that is the difference between actual data of X-ray intensity obtained by allowing X-rays respectively radiated from a plurality of X-ray generating parts to transmit a subject and opposite data of the X-ray intensity obtained by allowing the X-rays to transmit the same position of the subject in the opposite direction. A primary scattered radiation included in the actual data is estimated. A primary scattered radiation is estimated, which is included in the opposite data obtained by allowing the X-rays to respectively transmit the same position of the subject in the opposite direction. Then, a second difference is obtained, that is the difference between the scattered radiation intensity included in the actual data and the scattered radiation intensity included in the opposite data.
