PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging data generation device, imaging data decoding device and imaging data generation method capable of further reducing a data amount when it is difficult or unnecessary to record data of the entire image circle due to a system constraint or the like in a camera using a wide angle lens.;SOLUTION: A recording object area determining part for determining an area of a recording object in accordance with an imaging mode, an image data generating part for generating image data on the basis of information of pixels of the recording object determined by the recording object area determining part, and an imaging data outputting part for adding information of an imaging mode to segmented image data are provided.
