PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively perform mode analysis and displacement measurement with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A mode analysis method includes: a first step for respectively installing digital video cameras on a plurality of observation points 6 on a structure so that each video camera can include a photographing object 20 on an installation position of the other digital video camera arranged ahead in a photographing range; a second step for arranging a digital video camera 230 so that the photographing object 20 is included within the photographing range or installing a digital video camera 240 on a fixed point 8; a third step for photographing the forward photographing object 20; a fourth step for extracting a static image in each predetermined time starting from a predetermined point of time at which respective digital video cameras are synchronized from images concerned with the photographing object 20 and identifying a displacement direction between respective static images starting from the fixed point 8 as to a predetermined pixel in the static images; and a fifth step for determining a displacement mode concerned with an area to which respective observation points 6 are superposed on the basis of the identified displacement direction between respective observation points 6.
