PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently calculate compensation charge for compensating a hindrance such as the one that is given to a transmission/distribution line, and to make it possible to properly bill the users.SOLUTION: The method of billing the compensation charge comprises: providing a voltage regulator 8 for each of users 6; and providing an information processor 10 connected to be communicable with each of the voltage regulators 8. The voltage regulator 8 measures information regarding electric power supplied by a transmission/distribution line 5 and transmits the measured value to the information processor 10. The information processor 10 receives information regarding the electric power such as actual voltage value, voltage fluctuation, distortion rate, voltage flicker, and voltage imbalance rate. The information processor 10 obtains, according to the received information, a time change in compensation amount to be compensated by the voltage regulator 8, accepts a period that is an object of calculation for the compensation charge, and obtains the compensation charge during the period based on the obtained time change in compensation amount and on a unit price list which presents information indicating time and a compensation charge set corresponding to the compensation amount at the time.
