PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable monomer that has low polymerization shrinkage during curing, excellent flexural strength of cured product, and a high refractive index, and is useful especially as a dental restoration material.;SOLUTION: The polymerizable monomer is represented by general formula (1) {wherein R¹, R², R³ and R⁴ are each a group represented by general formula (2) (wherein Y¹, Y², Y³, Y⁴ and Y⁵ are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group) or a 1-6C alkyl group, where at least one is the group represented by general formula (2); R⁵ and R⁶ are each independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X¹ and X² are each independently an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or NH; and k and l are each independently an integer of 2-12}.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
