PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe sole composite material having durable waterproofness and very high water vapor permeability.SOLUTION: The water vapor permeable shoe sole composite material (105) having an upper face (50) includes at least one through cavity (31) extending through the whole thickness of the shoe sole composite material; and a blocking unit (35) having an upper face that forms at least part of the upper face (50) of the shoe sole composite material (105), and a water vapor permeable blocking material (33) formed as a blocking body for preventing the penetration of foreign matter and closing the at least one through cavity (31) in a water vapor permeable state. The stabilizing member has at least one stabilizing band material (37) arranged on at least one surface of the blocking material (33) and at least partially crossing the at least one through cavity (31). At least one sole leather member (117) is arranged under the blocking unit (35).
