PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a factory effluent collection device through vacuum suction and a factory effluent collection method which: are excellent in workability without requiring drainage piping arranged (laid down) under a floor; have high degree of freedom of a layout; decrease a risk of water leakage; and enable a state of a drainage line to be easily and visually confirmed.;SOLUTION: A factory effluent collection device through vacuum suction comprises: a vacuum suction unit provided with a buffer tank 11, a vacuum suction device tank 12 arranged next to the buffer tank 11 as well as a vacuum suction device 14; and a vacuum station 3 provided with vacuum piping 2 installed in a place where a piping state can be visually confirmed as well as a water collection tank. Effluent generated through CIP (cleaning in place) is: collected in the buffer tank 11 and transferred to the vacuum suction device tank 12 in a predetermined flow rate at a time. The effluent inside the vacuum suction device tank 12 is also transferred to the vacuum piping 2 by the vacuum suction device 14 and then to the vacuum station 3 through the vacuum piping 2.
