PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect exact viewing information in a terminal. PSOLUTION: In a terminal information collection system including a broadcast receiving terminal 100 and an information management server 202 managing information relating to viewing of broadcast in the receiving terminal 100, the receiving terminal 100 includes: a remote control signal processing unit for detecting the time at which a signal of a remote controller 101 operating the receiving terminal 100 is received; a decoder unit for detecting the time at which data distributed by broadcast are decoded for display; a message control unit for generating a message in which the detected times and the number of a channel being selected in the receiving terminal 100 are entered; and a communication processing unit for transmitting the message to the information management server 202. The information management server 202 includes a communication processing unit for receiving the message; a message control unit for extracting the information entered in the message; and a message processing unit which processes information of the message for management.
