PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a control not intended by the operator from being performed by an erroneous determination by providing a work determination system for determining a work by a construction machine and controlling the construction machine to suit to the work.;SOLUTION: This work determination system comprises a work determination part 56 which stores detected data in a buffer 57, always calculates the average value of the detected data within a predetermined time, and determines an excavating operation based on the average value of the detected data. A first determination reference S1 capable of estimating the start of the excavating operation and a second determination reference S2 capable of defining that a specific operation is performed are set as a reference for determining the excavating operation. When the operation conforms to the second determination reference, a control for excavating operation suitable for the excavating operation is performed. When the operation conforms to the first determination reference but does not conform to the second determination reference, a preliminary control for excavating operation which is a control performed preliminarily for the control for excavating operation is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
