PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump in which a sliding component assembled to a pump impeller is firmly retained, and positional deviation and idling of the sliding component is suppressed and the flatness of the sliding surface is secured to improve pump quality. PSOLUTION: The pump includes a rotator which has a rotator part provided with an impeller attachment part for attaching an impeller to the other end and the impeller provided with blades, wherein the impeller is made by integrally molding a sliding component which comes into sliding contact with a sliding contact member arranged on an annular recessed part disposed near a suction port of a casing by thermoplastic resin, at the same time, a front shroud is formed by thermoplastic resin. The sliding component is formed by thermoplastic resin or ceramic, is provided with a sliding part corresponding to an annular protrusion part of the impeller and a flange part which forms a part of the front shroud and has a plurality of protrusions of a prescribed shape radially extended to the opposite surface of the sliding part and, upon the integral molding by thermoplastic resin, the protrusions are imbedded by the thermoplastic resin such that the sliding component is retained by the thermoplastic resin.
