PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that improves the processing speed at start-up with a memory capacity reduced; and to provide a start-up control method, a start-up control program, and a recording medium. PSOLUTION: When a power supply is turned off, the electronic apparatus 1 stores, in a NAND memory 5, compressed program relevant data in which program relevant data comprising a main program and work data on a DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) 6 are transferred to a CODEC 13 via a second bus 23 by a DMAC 14 and compressed. When the power supply is turned on, the electronic apparatus 1 transfers the compressed program relevant data in the NAND memory 5 to the CODEC 13 to expand the compressed program relevant data, which have been decompressed in the CODEC 13, into the DRAM 6. When the power supply is turned on, a first bus 22, which connects a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 11 and a boot ROM (Read Only Memory) 3, and the second bus 23 are disconnected until a boot program is completely read out from the boot ROM 3 by the CPU 11, and the first bus 22 and the second bus 23 are connected after the boot program completely is read out.
