PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a foam resin sheet molded container recovered from a market as a regenerated resin within a short period of time, with energy less than a conventionally required amount, and at a lower cost.SOLUTION: The foam resin sheet molded container recovered from a market is roughly crushed to produce roughly crushed pieces with an average size of nearly 7-300 cm. After conducting necessary cleaning treatment for the roughly crushed pieces, the roughly crushed pieces after cleaning are subjected to a physical dehydration treatment to reduce the water content thereof to nearly 18 wt.% or less without drying by heating. The roughly crushed pieces dehydration treated to reduce the water content to nearly 18 wt.% or less are finely crushed to produce finely crushed pieces with an average size of nearly 0.2-6 cm, and the finely crushed pieces are charged into a melt extruder, are subjected to volume reduction and melted to form a regeneration molten resin. The drying by heating treatment is unnecessary, and as a result, low energy consumption and the cost reduction are achieved.
