PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal gasification-combined electric power plant improved in efficiency by: reducing the concentration of nitrogen in a produced gas occurring in a gasification furnace; and reducing the flow amount of vapor to be added to the produced gas through a CO shift reaction.;SOLUTION: The coal gasification-combined electric power plant gasifies coal by introducing oxygen into the gasification furnace 3. In the coal gasification-combined electric power plant, low-temperature CO2 collected in a CO2 separating unit 30 is heated in a low-temperature heat exchanger 15 and a high-temperature heat exchanger 16 by using waste heat generated in the plant, and then the heated CO2 is supplied to a coal hopper 2 and char hopper 25, whereby the CO2 is used as a transfer medium for the coal and char to the gasification furnace. Moreover, OC shift reaction is conducted by filling a CO shift catalyst and a CO2 adsorbent, layer by layer or alternately in plural layers, from an upstream side into a chamber in which the CO shift reaction is conducted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
