PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book providing system that facilitates advertisement recognition by a user.;SOLUTION: An electronic book acquisition unit (104) acquires an electronic book having a tag set in a sentence of the electronic book and indicating a replacement target word that is to be replaced by an advertisement word relating to an advertisement and is included in the sentence. An advertisement word acquisition unit (106) acquires content stored in an advertisement word storage unit (102) for storing the advertisement word in association with the replacement target word or the tag. An advertisement word insertion unit (108) inserts the advertisement word into the sentence of the electronic book on the basis of the tag included in the sentence of the electronic book and the content stored in the advertisement word storage unit (102).
