PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately calculate a transit time from the use history of an electronic ticket.;SOLUTION: The transit time calculation system includes: a staying data generation part for storing entry data including a date when the user of public transport enters the ticket gate of a station in order to use the public transport, the identifier of the entry station and the identifier of the entry ticket gate and exit data including a date when the user leaves the ticket gate of the station after using the public transport, the identifier of the exit station and the identifier of the exit ticket gate, and for combining the exit data with the entry data immediately after that on the basis of the user identifier, and for generating staying data including a staying time calculated by subtracting the entry date from the exit date; and a staying time tabulation part for tabulating the staying time under at least one condition of a time zone, station and ticket gate by using the generated staying time.
