PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method of manufacturing an emission color conversion member, which is capable of reducing deterioration of a phosphor; and an emission color conversion member which is manufactured by the method and has chemical stability and high luminous efficiency. PSOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an emission color conversion member comprises a step of baking an emission color conversion material that includes oxide glass powder and inorganic phosphor powder to manufacture the emission color conversion member, and is characterized in that the emission color conversion material is baked under a pressure of less than one atmosphere (1.01310SP5/SPPa).
