PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash processing system capable of securely storing sales cash etc., stored in a cash settlement device in a cash receipt and expense device.SOLUTION: A cash management system 1 includes a cash settlement device 11, a cash receipt and expense device 21, and a cash conveyance cassette 30. The cash settlement device 11 and the cash receipt and expense device 21 have read parts 157, 257, respectively, which read cassette ID information out of a storage part 35 of the cash conveyance cassette 30. The cash management system 1 further includes a management part 26 having money reception determination means 26A of determining whether cash in the cash settlement device 11 that the cash conveyance cassette 30 receives can be received by the cash receipt and expense device 21, a guide device which guides information from the management part 26, and a collation part 27 which collates the cassette ID information read out by the read part 257 of the cash receipt and expense device 21 with the information from the management part 26.
