PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for manufacturing a high voltage component which is excellent in high voltage withstanding property, simultaneously excellent in mechanical strength and dimensional stability, and which is intensified with filler, and to provide the high voltage component, which is manufactured with the resin composition as a raw material.;SOLUTION: The resin composition being the main point of the first invention includes: a component (A) of 100 pts.wt., which is a resin composed of a thermoplastic resin with an oxygen index of ≥20 as a main component; and a component (B) of 5-150 pts.wt., which is a fiber reinforcement with an odd-form sectional shape having a ratio of a long diameter to a short diameter (a flattening) of 1.5-10 of a section vertical to the fiber length.
