PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified zirconia fine-particle powder excellent in dispersibility and flowability.;SOLUTION: The modified zirconia fine-particle powder is a powder of modified zirconia fine-particles that is surface-treated with an organosilicon compound, has a mean secondary particle diameter in the range of 5-500 nm, has a mean primary particle diameter in the range of 5-500 nm, and the ratio of the mean secondary particle diameter/the mean primary particle diameter is in the range of 1-10. The organosilicon compound, which is represented by formula (1) below, is contained in the fine-particles within the range of 1-50 wt.% as Rn-SiO(4-n)/2 (n is an integer of 1-3), and has a half width of the main peak in 29Si MAS NMR spectrum within the range of 3-15 ppm. Formula (1) is represented by Rn-SiX4-n, wherein R is 1-10C unsubstituted or substituted hydrocarbon groups, each of which may be the same as or different from each other; X is a 1-4C alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, a halogen, or hydrogen; and n is an integer of 1-3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
