PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain precise tire uniformity since immediately after switching from a normal rotation of a tire to a reverse rotation thereof is conducted, in a tire uniformity measurement.;SOLUTION: A tire uniformity testing device 1 of the present invention comprises: a drum mechanism 6 for rotatably supporting a drum 5 and for being capable of pressing a tire mounted on a spindle shaft 3 against an outer peripheral surface of the drum 5; and a pneumatic circuit 7 for supplying compressed air to the tire. The drum mechanism 6 is configured to be capable of causing the drum 5 to back away while maintaining a contact state between the drum 5 and the tire, switching the rotation of the tire from rotation in one direction to rotation in the other direction, and then, advancing the drum 5 to apply load to the tire. The pneumatic circuit 7 is provided with volume adjustment mechanism means 20 for taking in and out compressed air whose volume is substantially matched with increased/decreased amount of a volume inside the tire according to backward and forward movement of the drum 5, when the rotation of the tire is inversely performed from rotation in one direction to rotation in the other direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
