PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silica nanoparticle, in which the efficiency is improved when a functional organic molecule having a carboxy group, such as a fluorescent pigment molecule and a light absorbing pigment molecule, is fetched in the silica nanoparticle, and to provide the silica nanoparticle to be produced by the producing method, a method for fetching the functional organic molecule and a labeling reagent which is excellent in reproducibility of measured results and allows an ultramicro-target substance to be analyzed quantitatively with high sensitivity.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the silica nanoparticle containing the functional organic molecule having at least one carboxy group includes: a step (a) of amide-bonding the functional organic molecule having at least one carboxy group and at least one active ester group to at least one amino group of organoalkoxysilane; and a step (b) of hydrolyzing both of an amide-bonded compound obtained at the step (a) and tetraalkoxysilane and subjecting the obtained organosilanol and silanol to a polycondensation reaction to prepare the silica nanoparticle containing the functional organic molecule.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
