It is a method and system for reconstruction and compressed color image sampling. Conversion for receiving the sample data set generated by sampling and converting the optical characteristics of the original image in the spatial basis, the resulting oblique substantially space basis vectors. Compressed sensing reconstruction technique is applied to the sample data set of the original image data to be estimated is provided. Data processing device is adapted to receive the sample data set such, to provide a set of original image data is estimated by applying compressed sensing reconstruction technique.
