PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control system having functional modules being constituted in parallel to each other, capable of ensuring the safety and the operational continuity, and ready for any trouble. PSOLUTION: A sensor 3 transmits a sensor value a to a sensor abnormality determination device 5. The sensor abnormality determination device 5 transmits a sensor value b to an ECU 7, and an abnormality notification c to a consolidated ECU 11, respectively. The ECU 7 transmits a command value d to an ECU abnormality determination device 9. The ECU abnormality determination device 9 transmits a command value e and an abnormality notification f to the consolidated ECU 11. The consolidated ECU 11 employs the command value with the higher priority out of the command values input from the ECU abnormality determination device 9. Further, when the ECU 7 notifies any abnormality, the command value from the ECU 7 to which any abnormality is notified, and the command value from the ECU 7 with lower priority from that of the ECU 7 to which any abnormality is notified will not be employed.
