PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SC-FDMA transmitter which improves transmission efficiency of SC-FDMA transmission signals, and to provide an SC-FDMA transmission signal forming method.;SOLUTION: The SC-FDMA transmitter 100 discrete-fourier-transforms primary modulation signal sequences that are composed of N pieces of primary modulation symbols, maps a plurality of frequency components to different sub carriers, and reverse-fourier-transforms the obtained SC-FDMA symbols to transmit them. A transmission path information decoder 155 obtains frequency selection characteristics in a transmission path between the transmitter and a receiver, and a cyclic shift part 110 and a correlation characteristics determination part 115 adjust frequency response of SC-FDMA symbols based on the frequency selection characteristics. Correlation operations between the frequency selection characteristics of the transmission path and the frequency response of the SC-FDMA symbols are performed, and then the adjustment is performed based on the correlation results.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
