PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize delivery of an ordered article at a receiving agency designated by an orderer, which is a nearby location convenient for an orderer, regardless of presence and absence of the orderer.;SOLUTION: The delivery management server 3 of a carrier N expedites store retrieving on the basis of a designated receiving address by displaying the designated receiving address to which data are transferred from a shipper server 1 on a store retrieving screen linked to an order site, if order data including the designated receiving address of the ordered article, which is convenient to the orderer Y, are input from a user terminal 2 in the order site of a mail order trader X, and if the store retrieving is selected, it retrieves nearby convenient stores C with the designated receiving address used as a retrieval key to deduce a corresponding receiving convenient store, and expedites determining a desired receiving convenient store from among them. On the other hand, a transport history management server 5 reads out the corresponding transport history data based on an invoice number from a transport history data base 36, if the invoice number is input from the user terminal and an inquiry about the transport history is received, and answers to the orderer by displaying the data on a transport history answer screen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
