PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial pile yarn substantially declining in no own high antimicrobial effect even if washed repeatedly, that is, capable of exhibiting its own high antimicrobial effects in high sustainability.;SOLUTION: The antimicrobial pile yarn 5 is such that a plurality of primary-twist yarns 3 are intertwisted together.
