PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receipt print technology for customizing the format of a receipt to be handed over to a customer in ending price payment by a portable terminal in a store such as a supermarket or a convenience store.;SOLUTION: Portable terminal equipment receives merchandise data to be printed on a receipt from a receipt issuing device through radio communication, and decides the merchandise category of the received data by referring to a merchandise category table registered so as to be associated with the category for every merchandise in advance, and returns the merchandise data related to the decided merchandise category to the receipt issuing device.
