PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for maintaining and improving a program more stably, and also to provide a computer-readable program. PSOLUTION: The system for maintaining and improving a program (1) includes: an execution means (20) which executes an object program; a deletion means (22) which deletes the object program in accordance with a deletion queue stored in a predetermined memory means; an evaluation means (24) which evaluates the completed object program by means of an evaluation function, the function which outputs the maximum evaluation value if an digitized execution result is coincident with a target value and tends to output a smaller evaluation value as the digitized execution result is away from the target value; a deletion-order change means (26) which changes an order of deleting the object program in the deletion queue on the basis of a value derived from the evaluation means; and a duplication means (28) which duplicates the object program on the basis of a value derived from the evaluation means.
