PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high strength nonmagnetic stainless steel having excellent strength, corrosion resistance and workability, and to provide a high strength nonmagnetic stainless steel component using the same and its production method.;SOLUTION: Disclosed is a high strength nonmagnetic stainless steel having a composition comprising, by mass, 0.01 to 0.06% C, 0.10 to 0.50% Si, 20.5 to 24.5 Mn, ≤0.040% P, ≤0.010% S, 3.1 to 6.0% Ni, 0.10 to 0.80% Cu, 20.5 to 24.5% Cr, 0.10 to 1.50% Mo, 0.0010 to 0.0050% B, ≤0.010% O and 0.65 to 0.90% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and satisfying expressions (1) to (4): (1) P.I=[Cr]+3.3×[Mo]+16×[N]≥30; (2) {Ni}/{Cr}≥0.15, where {Ni}=[Ni]+[Cu]+[N] and {Cr}=[Cr]+[Mo]; (3) 2.0≤[Ni]/[Mo]≤30.0; and (4) [C]×1,000/[Cr]≤2.5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
