PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomedical apparatus for transmitting information utilizing an attachment plug of an earphone with microphone and method of transmitting information using the attachment plug.;SOLUTION: A biomedical apparatus comprises a surveying unit, a microcontroller unit, an attachment plug of an earphone with microphone, a switch unit, a level shift unit, an amplification unit and a power source management unit, the attachment plug is inserted into a slot of the earphone with microphone, thereby transmitting information between the biomedical apparatus and a portable electronic device, and it is not necessary to implement authentication steps for a transmission style specified by a manufacturer beforehand. Furthermore, according to a method of transmitting biomedical information to the portable electronic device using the attachment plug, a user is allowed to input biomedical information into the portable electronic device, record and pursue daily biomedical information using the portable electronic device, and upload the information into a cloud database for use as remote medical treatment management.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
