PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of reducing the cost of a greening bedrock material and to additionally conserve the natural environment by reducing the manufacturing cost of compost using industrial waste trees. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the compost by using the industrial waste trees produced by felling has a primary crushing step of crushing the industrial waste trees to a prescribed length, an adding step of adding compost bacteria and nutrient components to the industrial waste trees crushed by the primary crushing step, a secondary crushing step of crushing the mixture formed by mixing the compost bacteria and nutrient components added in the adding step with the industrial waste trees crushed in the primary crushing step, a moisture regulating step of regulating the moisture of the crushed matter crushed in the secondary crushing step, a stacking step of stacking the crushed matter undergoing the moisture regulation in the moisture regulating step and a curing step of maintaining the moistening state of the crushed matter stacked in this stacking step.
