PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Fe-Mo binary alloy in which improvement of the workability such as high toughness and easy plastic deformation can be expected by having the same composition as Fe7Mo6, and the same body-centered cubic structure as Fe and Mo while it has a metastable phase which is not seen in the Fe-Mo binary equilibrium diagram, and an alloy film containing the alloy.;SOLUTION: The Fe-Mo binary alloy has the composition consisting of, by atom, 54-61% Fe and 46-39% Mo, and consists of Fe-Mo binary solid solution single phase with the metal phase having the body-centered cubic structure. The alloy is manufactured by heating Fe7Mo6 alloy powder having the composition consisting of 54-61% Fe and 46-39% Mo at its melting point or above, and executing the thermal spraying of its molten particles on a surface of a substrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
