Use of Kank3 gene for cancer therapy, cancer detection and drug discovery

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the utilization for treatment and diagnosis of a disease, and creation of medicine, of Kank 3 gene which is one kind of a Kank family. PSOLUTION: The utility of the Kank 3 gene different from that of a conventionally known Kank gene is discovered, and the following protein of (a) or (b) is provided: (a) the protein having a specific amino acid sequence; and (b) the protein including one or several amino acids deleted, substituted or added from, with or to the amino acid sequence of (a), and having the function equal to the function for inhibiting cancer cell movement (migration), possessed by the Kank 3 protein.
