PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a markdown price bar code label which has a function which is not used when only an original price bar code can be obscured by a concealing portion, but is used for performing adjustment for separating a part of the concealing portion from a cutoff line, to completely cover the bar of at least a part of the original price bar code and not to obscure useful display (a manufacturer, a seller, a raw material, an interior content, a use-by date, etc.) except the original price bar code, when the useful display except the original price bar code is obscured by the concealing portion.;SOLUTION: The markdown price bar code label is provided with the concealing portion 4 which is integrally formed so as to project from a label body 3, obscures a part of the original price bar code, to make reading impossible and does not obscure useful information such as a name of article, a processing date, an expiration date, the manufacturer, the seller, the use-by date, the raw material, a price and PR adjacent to the original price bar code.
