PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the direction of an insertion instrument easily when inserting a nozzle section into an incision of the eyeball.;SOLUTION: The insertion instrument comprises a lens receiving section for receiving an intraocular lens and the nozzle section A11 inserted into an incision of the eyeball for delivering the lens. In the instrument, a moving direction of an extruding axis for extruding the intraocular lens into the eyeball is referred to the first direction, a direction perpendicular to the first direction is referred to as the second direction, and a direction perpendicular to the first and second directions is referred to as the third direction.
