PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clonal culture method for maintaining hair follicle-inducing ability and a hair papilla cell prepared by the method. PSOLUTION: Disclosed is a clonal culture method of a hair papilla cell maintaining hair follicle-inducing ability, wherein one cell of hair papilla cell is isolated from a living specimen and it is sowed on a feeder cell layer to be cultured. Also disclosed are a hair papilla cell clonally cultured by the method; a method for transplanting the hair papilla cells to recipient animals and regenerating their hair follicles; and a method for transplanting the hair papilla cells to humans and regenerating their hair follicles.
