PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for opening a partition door of a driving cab, which enables a passenger to easily open the partition door between the driving cab and a passenger room from the side of the passenger room without use of a key in an emergency.;SOLUTION: This lock device 10 for opening the partition door of the driving cab, which is provided in a partition wall and a revolving partition door between the driving cab and passenger room of a railway rolling stock, includes: a lock member 11 which is rotatably provided in the partition door; a handle which is connected to the lock member 11 in such a manner as to be rotatively operable from the side of the driving cab; a sliding member 15 which has a U-shaped lock retainer portion 31 capable of being engaged with/disengaged from the lock member 11, and which is provided in the partition wall in such a manner as to be horizontally slidable between a protruding position to engage the lock retainer portion 31 with the lock member 11 and a receding position not to engage the lock retainer portion 31 with the lock member 11; a rotary member 16 which is rotatably attached to the partition wall, and which can switch the sliding member 15 between the protruding position and the receding position; and an operating knob 17 which is connected to the rotary member 16, and which can be rotatively operated from the side of the passenger room.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
