Admission control based on the QOS performance in a wireless communication network

Techniques for performing admission control on the basis of the performance of quality of service (QoS) in a wireless communication network is described. I can (for example, throughput performance or delay) QoS performance of the data flow that has been approved is determined. The decision to reject or accept the new data flow, it can be determined based on the QoS performance of data flows that have been approved. A new data flow can have a delay bound is approved. It can be determined based on the actual delay of the packet QoS performance of data flows that have been approved, and can be provided by a sector measured delay. Flow measured delay for the data flows that each approved, can be based on the delay of the packets for that flow, is determined. Sector measured delay may be determined based on the flow measured delay for the data flows all approved. If the sector measured delay is less than the delay threshold, it can be a new data flow is authorized.
