Evoked potential diagnostic support system in technique

P To provide a system for supporting the diagnosis of intraoperative evoked potential which accurately analyses waveforms of evoked potential pulses displayed by an oscilloscope and gives an alarm when spinal cord ischemia occurs. PSOLUTION: The system for supporting diagnosis of intraoperative evoked potential is provided with: evoked potential electrode devices 2 including electrodes 14 and arranged respectively ON the exposed intercostal nerves located ON the upper and lower parts of the aorta blocked during an operation; a determination device which detects and stores a spinal evoked potential before the operation and also a spinal evoked potential during the operation, sets an arbitrary level as a threshold ON the basis of an amount of change from the stored spinal evoked potential before the operation to the stored spinal evoked potential after the operation and determines a spinal cord ischemia state by comparing the spinal evoked potentials fluctuating periodically and the threshold; and an alarm device that gives an alarm ON the basis of directions of the determination device.
