PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating plants which is effective for crop growth while suppressing a cost necessary for light supplement.;SOLUTION: This method for cultivating plants includes applying two kinds of lights having light sources of white light-emitting diode and red light-emitting diode, to cultivated plants in a greenhouse using sunlight. In the method, based on the total radiation energy amount of light to be applied, the light radiation energy amount of 600-700 nm wavelength region is in a range of 25-50%, and the light radiation energy amount of 500-600 nm wavelength region is in a range of 15-30%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
