PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modifier for polylactic acids and a polylactic acid resin composition excellent in hydrolysis resistance.;SOLUTION: The modifier for polylactic acids is a block copolymer comprising a segment (A) solely consisting of a poly(methyl methacrylate) and a segment (B) solely consisting of a polystyrene and having characteristics given below: (a) the weight ratio of the segment (A) over the segment (B), (A)/(B), is 0.4-9.0, (b) the number average molecular weight of the block polymer is 10,000-100,000, and (c) the molecular weight distribution is 1.0-2.0.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
