PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assist device, a drive assist method, and a drive assist program, for outputting, even when the image quality of image data is deteriorated due to an external light source, a composite image by eliminating an influence thereof. PSOLUTION: The drive assist device 1 includes: an image acquisition unit 71 which acquires image data on surroundings of a vehicle; a determination unit 72 which determines whether the image data acquired by the image acquisition unit 71 is available or not based on whether the image quality of the image data satisfies an image quality standard; an image generation unit 73 which generates a composite image by combining current image data of the vehicle obtained by the acquisition unit 71 with past image data of the vehicle obtained in the past by the acquisition unit 71, in which only the image data determined to be available by the determination unit 72 is used as the past image data; and a display unit which displays the composite image generated by the image generation unit 73.
